GREAT
CHRISTMAS
RACE
It is a cold and blustery Christmas day in the morning.
Santa has awoken after his long night delivering
presents to discover he has even given away the items
necessary for his own celebrations! This is most
unfortunate because he was planning to host a party for
his friends, in thanks for all the help they have given
him!
As his friends arrive:
the Reindeer, the Elf, the Fairy, the Snowman, and
the Robin, he looks at the bare room, whose only
cheer is the roaring fire in the fireplace, as he
explains to them what has happened. To his delight,
however, they are not disheartened at all. What fun it
would be to race each other around the countryside,
gathering the items of fare needed for their
festivities!
With a roar of
laughter, and a twinkle in his eye, Santa agrees
wholeheartedly to their suggestion! So without further
ado, with only a brief pause to decide upon the route,
rules, and the items required, the group of friends set
off on their ‘Great Christmas Race'.
